My day In Norman OK

Norman, OK is located just south of Oklahoma City and is known as the “City of Festivals”. One may think that Norman is just a small town right outside of the state’s capital, Oklahoma City, but the city has much more to offer than what meets the eye. First and foremost, the state’s premier college, the University of Oklahoma is located there. I chose to attend my first football game at the University of Oklahoma. OU playing Baylor and it was sure to be a great game.

I began my day by exploring the beautiful campus at OU. It was well groomed and beamed with school pride. The lawns were beautifully manicured and folks were friendly and very welcoming on campus. After exploring the campus, I was then lead to the tailgate area for all the game day festivities. When I tell you the Sooners have team spirit, I mean that. Fans came from all over to see the Sooners play football. There were people from infants to the elderly dressed in their finest crimson and cream. After experiencing the premier tailgating, I then headed to the stadium to experience my first football game at the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The game was amazing and of course the Sooners pulled off the win. I would say that overall my visit to Norman was a success and I will definitely visit again.
